I thought I would do a little feature on my favourite places around London (mostly North London) to give you guys an idea where I have portrait sessions and also to showcase my lovely home! I moved to London 2 years ago. Living in a different country you learn a lot about yourself, I’m a Canadian who apparently  ends her sentences with “eh” a lot and  says “about” a little funny. I love exploring hidden parts of London.  I live in Muswell Hill and every weekend love to explore a new part of North London. Old cemeteries in Hampstead, coffees in Highgate (we even saw Harry Styles there once)! A lovely walk around these places makes for the perfect Sunday!

This is Alexandra Palace, just near Muswell Hill! I adore coming here for a stroll, it has the most peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. This is actually where I take a number of my clients for portrait sessions as it has the perfect landscape for beautiful backgrounds! The view of London is also extraordinary! The duck pond near Alexandra Palace is my absolute favourite, I adore watching the ducks for hours in the summer! Today felt like spring (yes, be jealous my fellow Canadians)! The air was the perfect crisp and a comfortable walking temperature! I’m excited for the start of Spring portrait sessions, it will be so much more fun doing a session where the poor child isn’t freezing!
